A highly unique opportunity now exists to join the international legal team and provide dedicated legal support and guidance to the function of the business which leads on ESG, R&D and Digital. You will work closely with Brands teams on food law, nutrition and advertising as well as the innovation teams on trade marks and brand protection. You will work with R&D, recognising the need to patent and protect new concepts and products. Digital transformation is a core part of this business unit and you will lead on digital marketing and e-commerce matters. You will be responsible for driving the ESG agenda on an international level.
The opportunity will be best suit a lawyer with strong IP experience, ideally gained in brands and marketing as well as digital and e-commerce, as the ability to lead on digital will be key. Broader commercial experience is also essential, particularly relating to commercial advice as well as the ability to work with multiple teams, ensuring unity of a common goal. An individual who is comfortable with variety as well as working directly with the business at a senior international level is also key. In-house experience gained in the same or a related sector would be useful, particularly in relation to experience with ESG. What is key is the ability to work in a fast moving environment and a keen interest in working with an innovative international consumer business. It is essential you are a self-starter with strong relationship development skills.
